The aim of this course is to teach how economics can be used to analyze and solve problems related to the management and use of forest resources.

Economic circulation, and macro-economic view of the concept of national income. The location of the forestry sector in the national economy, economic growth, inflation, employment and forestry relationships. Turkey`s and the world`s supply and demand for wood raw material and trends. Non-wood forest products in local, national and international markets and the relations of supply and demand. . cost-benefit analysis in forestry and methods within the scope of the problemand identification of benefits and costs.
