    Learning Outcomes
    1-Explains the meaning of basic concepts such as protected area, rehabilitation area, zoopark, zoo, management planning.
    2-Gives examples on the classification of protected areas, management objectives and functions.
    3-Lists the activities of national and international institutions and organizations related to management planning in protected areas and the importance of these studies in terms of planning.
    4-Gives national and international examples about the effects of management planning in protected areas.
    5-Analyzes the management plan samples by comparing them with each other.

    Goals The aim of this course is to explain what is protected area, protected area types, protected area design, national and international legislation, control and management of undegraded areas.
    Content Basic concepts related to protected areas, protected areas, types, design of protected area management planning in preparation for the protected areas, Systematic Conservation Planning, Key Biodiversity Areas approach, examining the legislation of management planning, the historical development of planning, investigations cases in the world and Turkey.
