The aim of the course is to enable students to question the energy factor in the foreign policy of states and to question the factors driving energy security.

Energy Resources in the World (Fossil Sources, Renewable Energy Sources and Nuclear Energy), Fossil Energy Resources in the World (Coal, Natural Gas and Oil), Energy Strategy of the USA, Energy Strategy of the EU, Energy Strategy of Russian Federation, PRC`s Energy Strategy, Energy Strategy of Organization Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan`s Energy Strategy, Formation of historical as Turkey`s energy policy, Turkey`s Energy Resources and Strategies, World Oil and Natural Gas Pipelines , Oil Pipelines in Turkey and Energy Security (Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, Kirkuk-Yumurtalik Oil Pipeline), Natural Gas Pipeline in Turkey and Energy Security (Blue Stream, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum, TANAP Turkish Stream), Turkey`s Energy Policy Impact on Relations with Neighboring States on the subject are evaluated.
