    Goals This course is designed as an introduction to translation and it aims to enable students to gain experience on translating English into Turkish and Turkish into English the original texts.
    Content Various text translations are made to learn the basic concepts and principles of translation, text types and translation strategies suitable for the text type, cultural concepts and related translation strategies. At the end of this course, the student gains the ability to translate social sciences texts, scientific and technical texts at medium difficulty level.
