    Goals Cultural Studies is an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary academic field that emerged in the West in the second half of the twentieth century and gradually spread worldwide. Cultural Studies, which in the broadest sense means identifying culture as the main field of study, is in contact with all academic disciplines that can have a say on this subject. Since Cultural Studies perceives the concept of "culture" as a whole of what people do and experience, it takes all kinds of cultural production and practice seriously. In this context, an interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary presentation is aimed at the academic disciplines in contact. On the other hand, it seeks to provide equipped employees to the cultural sector, which is gaining value in Turkey. First, it is desired to raise awareness about the culture of the place where you live by presenting impressions from living examples.
    Content Cultural studies are an interdisciplinary field, and this course will introduce the students to the history and development of this field in Çankırı, Turkey and the world. We will start with a brief history of the area`s growth and analyze the concept of culture. We will then discuss specific theoretical contributions and particularly scrutinize the development of the field in Çankırı Yâran Culture, different cultures in Turkey and beyond. There will also be screenings (movies, documentaries, advertisements, etc.), sightseeing (Çankırı Yâran Evi, Çankırı Askerağa Konağı, Çivitcioğlu and Buğdaypazarı Madrasa) that will relate the theoretical perspectives to our practical understanding.
