    Goals The aim of this course is to introduce Turkey`s social, political, economic and cultural structur; to gain understanding the interaction and cause and effect relationships in this structure; to raise awareness among students about the the societal factors that will affect the social work practices.
    Content Within the scope of this course; social structure, Foundation of the Republic and modernization, politics, economy, health, demography, civil society, income distribution, poverty, labor, social policy, family, education, cultural structure and changes in these structures in Turkey, and the role of these concepts on social work practices will be covered.
